I have persistent atrial fibrillation , which is actually permanent. I also have left ventricular systolic dysfunction which apparently means that my heart doesn’t pump as efficiently as it should , although I am not yet classed as having heart failure.Does anyone know if this is classified as one of the underlying health conditions that makes me more vulnerable to the corona virus? I’m 70, living in the UK and I’ve scoured Google but can’t find the information I need.

Hi Bob , I have been looking for that post but can not find it . Is there any chance you could post a link please?
I would be very grateful if you could.
Thank you

Try that
but I tried that and it didn't compute
Hi,
Just to say I am in the same boat albeit I have been classified as having heart failure. I was awaiting a cardioversion but it seems that may be put back now.
I saw a heart failure nurse today and was told that I am in the category more susceptible to worse effects but not contracting the virus.
Although, I think you are by virtue of your age? I'm 47 so don't hit that category.
