4 months post ablation

Its been 4 months now since the cryo ablation and recovery has been slower than I thought it would be.

Still getting fatigue if I do anything physical although had that before but not as bad as it was post ablation

I have had some ectopics, but had a couple of tachycardia events walking me up, usually about 1am although regular.

The first was about 6 weeks in and another last night. The fitbit says it was 78bpm but I think it was faster. Only lasts for a minute, a bit like blipping the throttle on the car, but a bit disconcerting as some of my Af events started with SVt's sometimes.

I had edged the lawn with the strimmer so it could be that as it seems to upset my upper chest somehow and caused issues in the past setting AF off. It is only about 10m x 5m

Is the tachycardia normal after an ablation as I am fearing a return, although I am still on the Flec 200mg per day.

Was supposed to get a follow up after 3 months but now have a telephone app in October

This sounds pretty normal post ablation to me. I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about. It can take time to get your confidence back as well as recover from your op. The main thing is you’re back in sinus rhythm, so just take deep breaths and ride these glitches……

Thanks Keano99

I know the SVT's were higher than shown on the fitbit as it only stores every 5 mins.

I think we all worry that it will not be successful but I will have to wait until the flec is reduced.

I have marked the event on my loop recorder to see if it shows how these episodes start. Its funny they always come during the night when asleep
