Hi thanks to everyone who posts info and produced the pre and post ablation leaflets. Had a cryoablation yesterday; sore chest and less energy than a dead cod but feel relaxed and informed and doing as Bob says - absolutely nothing and sleeping like the cat!
Thank you Ever : Hi thanks to everyone... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Thank you Ever
Super to hear, must feel so good to have reached the other side, and now putting all that good advice into practice. I’m on the list for cryoablation so it’ll be good to hear how you’re doing. Seems the hardest part for some is having to continue taking it easy once feeling a bit better! So keep going slow!
Yes keep that up! Best wishes
I will ditto Rainfern's reply and also encourage you to do as little as possible and rest. After my ablation I stepped up my activity after six weeks and got pericarditis which I am now battling to shake off. Even when you start feeling better, take it easy for as long as you can. Your heart has been stressed and traumatized and needs lots of time to recover. Remember that whilst you may not be doing much, your heart is still working hard just to support your normal activity, so anything slightly above normal will put extra stress on your heart without you really feeling it. But it can take its toll later. All the best 🙂👍.
I am now 8 weeks out from cryo. Still small faint bruising on thigh where they inserted cath.
Had a few issues in the first month. Large lump at cath insertion sight after going home the first day. Put pressure for 20 min. It dissolved the pool of blood. Of course you have intense chest pain. The body knows how to heal if we feed it properly.
Had shortness of breath for a few weeks. Seems to be dropping off now. I am even drinking coffee with no issues. Walking up to 5 miles daily. More and more energy. I also stopped sugar, refined and processed foods before surgery to assist healing. It has definitely helped.
The 90 day period is up in 4 weeks. I feel confident this is working in my favor. Feeling calm and relaxed. Blood pressure is really low and I love it! I am really looking forward to not taking some of the poisonous meds they prescribe. I believe they are part of the problem.
BP meds overtime weaken the heart muscle. The side effects of the meds can be deadly. Do your own research. Overall I had the best Electrophysiologist in Arizona. I felt confident going into the surgery. The entire procedure was perfect. It gets better and better if you believe it does. Attitude is everything.
Look up Dr. Joe Dispenza on youtube. I volunteered with him for years. He is a master teacher of self realization and emotional intelligence. I have done his work for 13 years. It works if you do it. His books are worth reading. He has a monthly teleclass for reasonable price. Take the healing ride with him. He is the real deal.
I wish you a quick recovery. Love and Light!
After thought: Look up Dr. Pradip Jamnadas Orlando, Florida. Fantastic Cardiologist. He is truly a gift to the world. He has helped hundreds around the world. It's free information. He is a truth seeker and shares the information. Has a sense of humor too.
Dr Sten Ekberg another genius shares how and why information for a happy healthy heart. Information to transformation is power.
It was my experience that the sore chest lasts about 3 days and that energy levels will return gradually. Be sure to follow doc's orders and happy healing!
