I love sugar free Vimto a cordial popular in the uk . Interestingly my AF has been more troublesome this past few weeks , so I delved into the irritating world of triggers !!! I have found that it is full of aspartame and saccharin further research shows that these sweeteners are much worse than real sugar and can cause the heart to be irritated! So have now changed to water with fresh fruit . Just a thought

As I have opined many many times , aspartame is the Devils Spawn and to be avoided at all costs. How it ever got licensed is a total mystery.
Glad the penny has finally dropped for you.
Artificial sweeteners were a sure trigger for my AF. I proved it beyond doubt, but can't keep on repeating that story here.
Keep away from all artificial additives to food and drink as best you can.
Hope you keep AF free now.

I hope it works for you. Water is the best, easiest, cheapest and it’s always there. The one thing I’d caution about adding lemon to your water is mind your teeth. The acid will erode your enamel so a wee bit of caution is required.
And just declared by WHO as carcinogenic!
I drink a combination of still bottled water, filtered water (Berkey filter) and a small amount of mains water straight from the tap. This is an insurance policy as we are encouraged to drink more water to stay hydrated and I don't believe the water companies in South East England are interested in improving your health just their profit 🤔.
I always chime in on this topic as aspartame and sucralose along with wheat are my true only triggers. They will make my heart go crazy, even after having an ablation in 2016. I take no meds and my heart stays in rhythm, however, I watch to make sure nothing goes in my mouth that contains artificial sweeteners, not even a piece of gum with it.
Hi
In NZ they have researched soda drinks and chewing gum.
These say no sugar but they put a disguise sugar in them which is now to be a substance which can cause cancer. Coke Cola is just one of many.
