Sorry to her that but at least they caught it early. All the best with everything.

Absolutely!. I have heard of quite a few people over the years who's lives have been saved because of such finds. Such early intervention is vital . Great for you!

In April last year I was blue lighted to A & E and outcome was infected appendix which urgently had to come out. They did a CT scan and also found that there was a small mass in my bladder and believed that it was cancer. So since then I have had surgery to remove the cancer, chemo for 6 weeks and 2 three months systoscopies to make sure all is clear. Next one will be in 6 months time. I had absolutely no symptoms regarding the bladder cancer. I was very lucky because the cancer had not spread outside the bladder but consultant said that a few more months and it would have. Oh and thank you urology department at my hospital for prompt treatment and great care.

My dad had bladder cancer for 10 years; doing the 6 monthly visits, then 3 months, when a b it would come back then back to 6 months etc. He was finally given the all clear after 10 years. I hope you too can finally get rid of it.

My mum had bladder cancer aged 62, 10 years of treatment like your dad, but unfortunately it got into the urethra and mum had to have her bladder removed. I am pleased to say that was 20 years ago and she's 95 now!! God bless her ♥️

OH that's unfortunate but glad to hear she's doing well and to know it can be treated.

bless ya. Hope all goes well and thinking of you. I had a tumour found when I had a dating scan in my only pregnancy, that was 30 years ago and if I hadn’t have had the scan I wouldn’t be here now. It was the size of a grapefruit when I gave birth and a hysterectomy was all the treatment required. So glad they found your lesion at this stage. Take care and keep us updated 🦊xx
