sorry to hear that, stress is certainly one of my triggers. My last bout of AF was due to a planned knee replacement. They didn’t cancel due to the AF but because I restarted my anticoagulant because of the AF. Hope you get your procedure.

The medical staff will take good care of you. Be guided by their expertise. Whatever they decidecwill be in you best interests. Sorry you are having this to deal with and wish you well. Deep steady slos breathing may help calm you and your AF.

Not for you to worry about. They will decide and if they go ahead, look after you so relax.

Bless you. I would definitely be the same and my anxiety would go through the roof. I really feel for you. You are in safe hands and will be ok. Hope they go ahead and get it over and done with, so that you don’t have to go through this again.

I hope you managed to have your procedure - such a worry for you when a fib interferes in receiving treatment for other ailments. I wonder if one ever gives up trying to identify what sets it off when there can be so many triggers! xx

I had it they waited until I was back in NSR was meant the procedure was 2 hours late. They didn't want to schedule as it was very important to get it done ASAP was waiting on results fir treatment.

I was in the same situation three months or so ago when my AF episodes seemed to be increasing. My GP told me to take bisoprolol daily (1.25mg) rather than as needed (infrequently...). It worked and all went well. I suppose if you have tachycardia it will depend on the procedure. Mine was to remove a benign rectal polyp and I have to stop apiuxaban for three days before and two weeks after the op.
