Hi, I was diagnosed with afib just over twelve months ago. I've had an ablation in Dec and nsr since except for one minute. I was intolerant of the beta blockers they put me on and first ep refused to put me on any other meds. So I was just on Xarelto with AFib every three days for ten hours with heart rate up to 186. Changed EPs as first EP was not going to do an ablation because of weight. Even though when I saw him I was not far from the lightest I'd been in thirty years.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had an anterior hip replacement and AFib arrived not long afterwards. Because during the hip replacement they do not cut the muscles, they pull them apart, they cause serious inflammation, my thigh was twice the size it usually is.
I take magnesium taurate for heart function and coenzyme q10 for inflammation reduction, multivitamin, b complex, and Xarelto as my blood thinner and Lisinopril as bp med.
Thanks
Mary
