Testosterone Replacement Therapy

I was on TRT up until Nov when I had problems with my breathing, so I stopped, I was exercising

4 or 5 times a week, and to be honest I felt great up until mid Nov, and now been told I have AF

I am now on Apixaban, Furosemide, Bisoprolol, Ramipril, as the TRT was by injection, I am now

concerned with having the injection because of the Apixaban being a blood thinner, I am nearly 68

and the TRT gave me a new way of life, so much more energy lost weight and just felt so much

better in myself, and I would love to go back and carry on with the TRT, I did ask my GP but all he

said was it could be done and left it at that, so I am really non the wiser, I am looking into the use

of a Gel and Patches but as of now no joy, just wondered if anyone could suggest any thing, or

advice on the injections

not even sure if I should be asking on here,

Thanks anyway

Not really our field here. Personally the less I have the better as it keeps my cancer away.

If I understand you correctly, you were on TRT and while on therapy developed afib? If this is the case, I would speak to a ep or well versed cardiologist before going back as TRT may have been your afib trigger.

It was my choice and I can only say it improved my way of life, but like any thing in life there is always a risk, have a low testosterone level is a risk,
