I've been on dronedarone for 6 week's now. Still getting weekly episodes lasting around 18 hours. As I've said previous take with a decent meal. Your backside will thank you.
I am not familiar with the Arista name but I have been on Multaq since the beginning except for the trial of amiodarone in the very beginning yuck. I thought Multaq was great I never felt anything bad from it the problem with it is if your heart is not in rhythm it does you no good. I have been off and on it since April. They can’t get my heart into rhythm. I hope you have good luck like I did with Multitech I was taking that and Metropolol t. No problems with that either and I am on another version of it now. Best of luck
what metoprolol are u taking? Dr gave me Metropolol to USA as needed. 25 mg
on Multaq 9 months now. Does not stop my AF but shortens the length of the episode considerably. Stops me from having blackouts after conversion to NSR which is why I am on it. Best of luck.
hi, ive been taking dronederone approx 2-3 years now, along with low dose bisoprolol , both calm my now weekly episodes down somewhat ,no side effects so far that i can tell.
Hi, I was put on dronedarone post successful cardioversion on 12 th October and so far ( v early days ) I am still in NSR . I was on it for approximately a year previously following ablation but it stopped working after 12 months and I went back into persistent AF. I found it tolerable though , with minimal side effects except diarrhoea and stomach cramps when first started on the drug .
