Not the ideal Christmas present

After avoiding all bugs past few years,i went down with covid oo Friday, get up this morning my husband (Terry) has now got it,happy days hope it clears quickly, supposed to be going to our sons for Christmas.Main thing heart not playing up just in permanent AF as usual.Happy Christmas to all .Jane

I wish you and your hubby a speedy recovery in time for Christmas.

My hubby went down with it 8 days ago but I remain negative. Unfortunately he is still testing positive which is disappointing . I have chronic lung disease plus heart arrhythmia so really do not want it.

Keep safe everyone as there seems to be a lot of nasty bugs about. x

There seems to be a wide variant in Covid severity, the majority mild I believe. However if not you may want to read up the recovery protocols here covid19criticalcare.com/tre... I have followed all the 'treatments' discussion closely over the last 2+ years and would trust these guys implicitly. I am just sending the same link to my daughter in Toronto whose partner has got it, just in case.

Sorry to hear it. There seems to be a lot of it about. A close friend got it for the first time recently and likens it to a very bad bout of flu. Our paramedic son has just got it for the second time and is also having a bad time including very bad diarrhea. We've never knowingly had it.

We're fine but we're testing before we visit elderly relatives so we don't take them any unexpected presents.

P.S. The NHS Covid App now let's you report positive test results even if the test kit didn't come from them.
