Christmas Song Adaptation

I wrote this song after the post submitted by someone who said they'd heard that plum wine was good for us and our hearts. Please submit your adapted Christmas song if you can.

We three things of AF are

Abnormal beats, tiredness and scar

Feel uncertain, but it's not a hurtin'

So over to yonder bar

-------

Plum wine is mine, its bitter but soon

Gives me a boost, dispels all the gloom,

Sorrowing, sighing that's all a dying

And I'm back in good rhythm soon

-------

Oh bar of wonder, bar of might

Bar with royal booty bright

Drinks a needing, still proceeding

Guide me to thy perfect site

I once reverted to sinus rhythm after days of constant AF. Went to a neighbours house for a pre Christmas drink and had a very small glass of wine, it just covered the bottom of the glass. It was so nice I had another and before I knew it I was back in sinus rhythm.

I think it was CD who suggested a few days ago that she thinks whatever induces AF, can perhaps sometimes cure it as well.

I can attest to that Jean. Many years ago I bought one of these mini trampolines for exercise and kept it in bedroom. After only a couple of bounces I went into Afib. Not the wisest idea then me thinks and promptly stopped. A couple of weeks later I went into Afib in the night (which is my usual) and happened to glance at trampoline and thought if jumping on trampoline started it before then......... so there I was at 3:00am bouncing up and down (don’t you dare BobD 🤣) and within 5 bounces I was back in NSR. Not sure cardiologist would write prescription for it but it worked for me. xxx

Hmm, interesting makes me think I should get my mini trampoline out of the garage. Had a gallbladder attack last night, so not feeling that bright at the moment. If it's not one thing it's another!!

We had a magnificent Victoria Plum tree that I planted in 1966. We made wines from various things we grew but plum was the least successful as it was very difficult to clear.

Come and join the Celebration

Had an AF free day

Flecainide and ante-coagulation

Really feel I’m on my way!

Wise men told me

Take 50 morn and night

Didn’t heed them went and took 100

And still alright

Come and join the celebration

Celebrate while calm is here.

Come tomorrow

Could be feeling very queer.

Stuck 😱 Di xx

We made plum wine once from the Victoria plums on our tree. It refused to clear and we refermented it without much improvement so never again.A question when did you last see victoria in British supermarkets ?

It's about time we reverted back to good old British produce. I used to have a Victoria plum tree too, but it attracted the wasps so much and it was near where I wanted to sit in the garden, so go rid of it, but I regret that now,

I planted our one when we bought the house in 1967 and it thrived right away. I was sorry to lose it when moved away in 1993. Actually the houses were built on the site of an orchard that had belonged to an old manor house and we had four of the very big old apple trees.
