flutter

hi all

I am currently on Amiodarine plus 15mg beta blocker , calcium blocker and 30 mg of a thinner now I don’t have AF 24/7 so I can’t have Cardioversion but my question is should I have episodes of AF with the amount of drugs I am taking? only the last two nights I have felt a flutter for around 30 mins my pulse jumped to 124

It just seems a lot of medication if I’m still getting the flutter

I can only tell you that Amiodarone did nothing for my AF, but Flecainide did. Are you on Amiodarone while waiting for an ablation? It's quite a toxic drug.

Hi Jean I have been on it since June I was supposed to go for a CV this Friday but as I have been telling the hospital my AF cones and goes but this goes largely ignored , yesterday I had 3 ECG ‘s and was informed no detection but of course last night 120 plus hb at 3 in tne morning that lasts 45 min before dropping to around 95for best part of a hour . This morning it’s 43

No they cancelled it at the pre op ECG this week .I have been told I will now be called back to wear a heart monitor for 24 hours at some point
