Pleased all went well for you. Are you being treated as a day case as most are now ? Must say that with my 4th ablation last July getting the catheters in was the worst bit. It wasn't painful but I didn't like all the pushing and pulling sensations . I couldn't stop shaking, felt like a panic attack and had to practice slow deep breathing to get under control.
Can't remember a great deal else except that I felt very well looked after and had a lovely heated mattress to lie on! It was a very long session
Great to hear you're ok. I didn't realise they were still doing them across the road.
It was certainly a different experience in the private hospital...... toiletries, TV, sanitised for you paper strip over the loo and posher sandwiches 😁.
Who zapped you in the end?
Remember now, rest, rest and when you think you have rested enough, rest some more.😊.
I’m pleased for you that it is all done and dusted. Yes, rest, rest and then some more. I was on the private wing (as NHS) at LHCH for both of mine. Flat screen TV, phone, en suite, the whole shebang. Yes, really pampered. Glad you are home now and don’t forget……rest. xxx
Hurrah for you! Stage one done and dusted. Those wretched catheters...my first was hilarious with much shoving. Enjoy the stay and make sure you've got the other half primed for weeks 1 and 2 protocol according to Bob.
