A lation postponed

Was due an ablation this Friday but just got news that it has been postponed due to having high PTH blood test levels and a lump in my neck. I know your PTH levels can have an impact on your heart but has anyone else had a procedure postponed or cancelled because of it?

Sorry to hear that your procedure was postponed, personally I’m not familiar with the connection but I can understand why they might want to check out the lump and investigate why your blood levels are high. Let’s hope you get some positive answers soon and that the procedure can go ahead without too much of a delay…..best wishes.

Thanks for replying. Parathyroid controls calcium absorption throughout the body which does affect the heart so I understand cardio being careful and cautious but it's still frustrating
