Recently I posted about the symptoms of reflux, palpitations, ectopics and heartburn which I have had recentlyamd wondered if this was caused by the vaccine. Yesterday I spoke to a GP on the phone and they said that it might or might be. They said that "hopefully" the symptoms would subside before long. Today I went out for a relaxing afternoon with some old friends. On walking home, I noticed the heart was beating faster than usual and I was a getting lots of ectopics. I haven't had any PAF for over 7 months and this is not my usual pattern. If anyone had similar symptoms (mine started 10 days after the vaccine) how long did it take them to subside? Does anyone have any info on the prevalence of this sort of reaction? The whole thing is not very pleasant.

Heartburn/reflux, the vaccine or something else UPDATE.
My diet hasn’t changed at all. I had quite a bit of stress a few weeks ago, but I am often stressed. I’ve been advised by a doctor to go to A and E to be checked out, but am less than enthusiastic for a reason you can probably guess.
I find that after times of stress I do not see the effect of that stress for a few weeks so that could be the same with you - it's like my body works well and just carries me through that time and then when it has all subsided and I start to "wind down"then all the adverse reactions kick in a few weeks after. Having said that it could be a mix of the vaccine and the stress. We are all different and on different medications for different things not always just Afib - at my age lots of other meds for lots of different things. Thankfully I had no adverse reactions from any of the three vaccines or the flu vaccine. I was just lucky.
Yes, a cardiac nurse also suggested it could be a mixture of the two. I will be triaged by my GP surgery later today.
