withdrawal of lansoprazole

I have been taking clopidogrel for over 3 years after a stroke and was prescribed lansoprazole to counteract the side effects but I would like to stop the antacid has anyone tried this or taken blood thinner without antacid

Taking my anticoagulant Warfarin at night made my stomach sore and I now take it mid breakfast and have been happily doing that for many years.

I have 3 meds for which lansoprazole was prescribed - I took 1 and never had another. Trouble is withdrawal can cause acid rebound for which you will need specialist support.

I’ve not had any problems in the 7 years of taking these drugs.
