PVI successful after long week

After my ICD episode and ablation for atrial flutter was in today for PVI … in at 9 out of cath lab about 130 …. They said it was successful so im absolutely delighted …. Wrecked here but happy …keeping me in till tomorrow so any wee tips on recovery at home welcome … and thanks for well wishes … 🙏

Well done ! Just don't overdo things for the first couple of weeks , however tempted you may be !

Make sure that you read the fact sheet on here for recovery and when you think you've rested enough, rest some more. Good luck.

Do as little as possible for first week. I felt horrible first 3/4 days. Everything sore, fatigued, weak etc. Literally bed resting for 4/5 days with getting up for a VERY slow walk down hallway every now and then. Now 8 days after and I’m feeling remarkably better every day. Been slowly increasing my daily walk everyday and am going to go for a 2 miler in a bit 😀👍 happy days (hopefully) 😂

Like everyone says number 1 rule REST! Let your body heal 👍
