Israel meds for covid

Has anyone else read an article about the meds developed in Israel for covid? A Dr Nadir Arber has developed a med called Eco-CD24. CD-24 is a protein he has been working on for 20 years. The other medicine is called Allocetra. I'm not good at repeating all the science terms of these medicines but the Eco-CD24 cured 30 out of 30 patients in the hospital and most of them were discharged within five days after receiving this med. And have remained healthy. Some were severely ill. The Allocetra cured 29 out of 31 in the the same time frame. Some had pre-existing health problems before covid. It was also stated these meds could be manufactured in pharmacies in any country globally and also very inexpensive to produce. In a short period of time. This is great news. I'm so sorry I'm not techie enough to post a link to the article. But where I saw it was:

I'm praying that these meds will start to be produced soon all over the world. They are much safer than the vaccines. No horrible side effects. The Eco-CD24 is inhaled. I'm not sure about the Allocetra. But it's not a shot. Google the article and read about it. Best news I've read all day today. 😁

It's very important to find other treatments for the virus. It's taking a long time to get people vaccinated plus with all the new variants rapidly spreading the vaccines will not be enough. Venezuela has a terrible economy right now and a terrible President and vaccines are not coming for its people. Politics are getting in the way. I feel so bad for the Venezuelan people.

I’ve not heard of anyone with lasting side affects from a vaccine, outside of trial when there were a very few who reacted badly which will happen with any substance, vaccine or drug if you give to enough people.

Vaccine can cause a reaction from a slight sore arm or mild flu like symptoms for 24 hours - which is a great sign as it indicates that your immune system is activated and priming the body against the virus. I think is FAR more desirable than the very serious and very dangerous risks from complications from COVID which even if drugs do help you recover, can and often do mean life long complications.

Our area has just set up a rehab centre for people recovering from COVID.

I’m off for my jab today and thankful for it and hoping for a reaction as it will indicate to me that it may give me immunisation. My fear is that because of my autoimmune disease I won’t develop immunity so am arranging for antibody test in about 16 weeks.

Best wishes CD

PS - I take your point about long time for the world to be vaccinated and it does need the whole global population in every country to be vaccinated. UK is doing well, for once, I think it’s 12M+ and hope to get most adults over 50 finished by early summer so if the will and the organisation is there - it’s possible.

CD the Pfizer jab seems only ever to cause sore arm whilst it it the Oxford AZ causing flu like symptoms for a couple of days. Please don't worry if you have the Pfizer and no reaction. Not sure what they are giving your side of the moor.

Both. I’ll find out today which I’ll get but depends upon the deliveries I’m told. Booking an antibody test even so, as advised.

OH had the Pfitzer & antibody test at 3+ weeks after 2 jabs 3 weeks apart were borderline.

Had the Pfitzer - very easy and well organised centre which is within a mile from home - 5 min indoor queue - parked 2 metres from the entrance. Didn’t feel a thing and as of yet, no reactions but only 2 hours ago so early days.

I had the AstraZenica vaccine and only a slightly sore arm, my cousin had the Pfizer and had flu like symptoms for 4 days. Doesn't prove anything of course except we all have individual reactions.

A few people have lost their blood platelets after getting the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. One Dr in Miami FL took the Pfizer vaccine and died from bleeding. Just the first dose. He was perfectly healthy. Now a few other people have has the same thing happen in the USA. Their platelets went down to zero. Drs figured out how to treat it after the Dr who died. Another Dr has said he's pretty certain that the vaccines caused this to happen. It proves that there's still unknowns about the vaccines. Maybe it was just a few people who had this happen. But it's a concern. It may not have been in the news in other countries. If the meds developed in Israel work so well then I hope they will be able to get them on the market for people. The more treatments the better. It's taking too long to get people vaccinated and we're given contradicting information whether or not the vaccines will work against all the new variants. I don't know what other countries are saying about that. The world needs all the help it can get. And if some countries like Venezuela aren't getting vaccines or some treatment then what? The virus isn't going to go away. And I don't believe that the guidelines will either even with being vaccinated.Everyone take care. It's a different world now.

As I understand it, there is no proven link to the vaccine, but no doubt there will be on going investigations.

Here’s the link. Let’s hope trials confirm the effectiveness of the treatment

That medicine sounds very promising. However it works only where there is a cytokine storm, which only happens in 5-7% of Covid-19 patients. It won't work in others. So there are still going to be lots of Covid patients dying or getting long Covid, which I fear almost more than dying. Also we don't know the cost of this treatment. It could be very expensive, do you expect the developing world to pay for that? It is going to be a lot more expensive than the AZ vaccine at around £3 per shot or cheaper.

Nevertheless, it would still be an excellent medicine to have in the armoury alongside a growing list of other treatments.

The way I read the article it said the Allocetra would work for those with cytokine storms but also for others with moderate to severe cases of covid. So however they work it's needed. Take care.
