Hi all Long time since I was on Hope all are well and good .

I'm still working fulltime again Must say it's been manic and heartbreaking at the home I work in It has made us all closer and stronger .

Went for my 1st covid vaccination today and so far all is good Was a difficult decision for me but I think I made the right choice .

Stay safe stay strong and dont let this virus beat us

We are both fine thanks. Have other family problems with one son - he's only 53 after all (!) this parenthood poop is not what it's cracked up to be you know - well not always. Other son and his wife both fine. My nephew has tested positive and everyone in their house is ill so probably find they all have it including one with chronic asthma and my great niece who has a 3 month old baby in the same house and just had an emergency gall bladder op a couple of weeks ago. Do hope they only get mild symptoms if they get any - a friend of mine in Mexico didn't feel that bad with it but its lovely and sunny there and he is so fit the virus was probably scared of him! Thing is my sister has been visiting that house and her daughter's house regularly so hope it hasn't gone from one to the other. My sister lost her husband last April to gullet cancer so I understand she needs the support and her grand daughter needed her to help look after the baby when she was in hospital and had just come out but it would be awful if they had spread it around. They are getting tested so just got to wait for the results and take it from there. How my nephew's house are going to manage self isolating I don't know there are about 12 people living in there and I think one of the other sons who usually lives with his Mum was the first one to be ill last Tuesday so that's another house it may have gone to. Oh dear! Today I have spent most of my time talking on the phone to one or the other or messaging them - even on our walk! I even took the phone into the loo with me this afternoon to try and keep up with the messages - my daughter-in-law said Welcome to the 21st Century Dad! I never thought I would take a phone into the loo with me! LOL
