SMILE and AF association will get a donation

Folks, I'm not sure if you realise but if you use Amazon you can have them donate a small portion of what you spend to your nominated charity. For those in UK rather than the normal amazon account use smile.amazon.co.uk.

Not saying you should use amazon but if you do the AF association, or any other recognised charity, could benefit.

Sadly of the £5,721,914 Amazon has donated, only £126 went to the AF association, and £21 was from my spending.

I hadn't checked the amounts in ages and indeed it is sad how little has gone to the AFA. Of the total of £126.19, there is £68.54 from my purchases over the years. Perhaps the AFA could publicise this more?

I never even realised I could change from the 3 or 4 'defaults' that showed up initially! Just changed!

For those not in the know, or not already using AmazonSmile, this is how to do it...

Go to smile.amazon.co.uk and sign in.

Just under the 'smileamazon' logo on the top left corner, is says (in orange text), "Supporting" followed by the current charity.

Click on the down arrow, or the current charity name.

On the next page click on the 'Change Charity' box under 'Your current charity'.

Type 'Atrial Fibrillation' in the search box, and search.

Click on the orange 'Select' button and you're done.

Don't forget to bookmark the smile.amazon webpage so that your future orders are included.
