Buon Natale. Joyeux Noelle, Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

Feeling exceedingly well prepared so some calamity is bound to arrive apart from taking one of my cats to the vets this morning.

Just watching a posse of long taited tits on my fat balls (Flapjack NO !) whilst a lot more tits inhabit the peanuts and normal feeders. Expecting the gold finches and bullfinches to arrive shortly. A timely reminder that our feathered friends should not be forgotten at this busy time.

Also spare a thought for all those poor nurses , doctors and care workers who will not be able to relax. SamD still has to go out at some ungodly hour to tend to those less fortunate than ourselves and will likely not be home till past 3 pm tomorrow.

I wish you all a very happy time. Stay off the booze, (well maybe not the comunion wine) don't over eat,.stay well hydrated and you will sail through things.

Off to stay at my daughters house now for a few days and be waited on. Who said life doesn't get better as we grow older, cos it does! We're having our Christmas tea this evening as everyone is too full to eat it on Christmas day.
