High BP with cold sweats and headache

Had ablation year age. AF seems under control. Taking Multaq & Cardilol for BP. Have had for about 1 week bad headache with cold sweats. Usually lasts 30=45 minutes. When this happens BP is high 155/90. Called Cardiologist added Telmasarten to help lower BP. Has anyone experienced this?

Gotta second Bob on this. You could be having COVID symptoms. I had something similar earlier this year -no coughing - sweats and shivering, dizziness and BP was up to 176 at one point. I've read others' asymptomatic experiences and it made me think perhaps I'd had the virus. It came back twice across a period of 3 weeks but hasn't returned. I've not been tested either for the virus itself of antibodies. This happened right at the beginning of lockdown and everything was chaotic. Are your BP meds ACE inhibitors? If so, these are thought to be somewhat helpful if the virus hits because it's known to bind to our ACE1 and 2 receptors. Hope this helps rather than adds to fears.
