Test again over next few days. Don't take too much notice of an isolated reading

Yes . But it’s still a fair increase for one day

Hope it has settled down today

First reading will put you in anxious disposition anyway. Try and relax and take again first thing the next morning.

We've all been there at some point with highish blood pressure readings. Breathing exercises mindfulness distraction techniques(watching a good old black and white movie) are all helpful. Failing that talk to our arrhythmia nurse!

How many readings have you taken at this level? I assume multiple? Ie 5 readingsI’d suggest a call to 111 for advice

Is it the same high value throughout the day, taken sitting in a relaxed position? I have an Omron bpm and fine the first one or two readings are often high-ish before settling back.

You may want to "google", but I have read that people with AF should take hr/bp readings at least 3 times with 15, 30, and 60 second intervals.

You should take blood pressure readings after sitting still for at least five minutes. The cuff should be level with your heart. And other readings should be taken at one minute intervals. You average the last two readings.

My bp has been higher than normal since my ablation. Dr doesn’t think much of it since it’s not crazy high. Prior to afib it averaged at 110-ish/70-ish. HR was prob about 70. Bp now comes in at around 125-130/90. Hr only in 60s when sleeping. Averages 100 or more when moving about.
