Three years ago I had a cryo which has lasted 3 years (lucky me). Just lately I have the odd burst of BP shooting up to 140-150 (normally 120). The heart rate shoots up tp close to 100.
Have any of you experienced this ? Could the PAF be rearing its head ?
thank you

You don't say if the 140 - 150 is the systolic or diastolic reading. If it is the top reading then my GP would say that it does not need medication but should be monitored.
Was it not perhaps the highers than normal BP reading that shot your heart rate up due to sudden anxiety?
I had a cryoballoon 6 years ago get paf episodes about 4 times a year so not bad normal d sinus rhythms inbetween so life is great it is usually triggered by a single glass of wine!! Or too much chocolate! Not so great but have to break out occasionally!! Before the cab was in virtual paroxysmal af most of the time was then ready to jump off a cliff. Keep an eye on it but don’t panic yet
i just had cryro and the reason I did was wothout meds my HR would increase from resting at 60 to 90 then 110… and keep going to spike at 180 or 200…
Sometimes it would stop around 90 or 100 which can br normal for some people, however, when the episode started I would start to feel very sick dizzy faint and flu like to a point where I would feel I would pass out at around 180 to 200…I think because BP would drop sharply.
If you are asymptomatic then I think its fine up to 100..,if you feel like I did, get some help. It was terrible….
