After being so chuffed Bisoprolol has had no effects which it hasn’t I woke up Saturday with the return of frogs and kangaroos in my chest gutted. Still I knew it would.

As I couldn’t breathe and pulse was bouncing around my husband dialled the dreaded 999.

First responder then two hunky ambulance men.

Anyway you know the routine but our A +E has changed so much. All in our own rooms tea biscuits.

It settled on its own but weak pulse not feeling to clever.

Blood tests ok sodium a bit low but inflammatory markers showed up.

Looked up these and AF. Apparently it’s linked. So more blood tests next month.

So Dr said he wouldn’t give antibiotics to see how I go.

Yeah ... ringing consultant secretary tomorrow.

So just a heads up to be aware that blood tests are important for all of us to get the help we need to make our AF journey as safe as possible.

Bless you all

Good night and tell your hearts to behave.

Isn't it odd how if we dare feel a little smug that we're feeling well and talk about it, we come crashing down. It's always happening to me and I'm becoming afraid to say much now.

Feel sorry for you, but glad your heart has settled now.

That's a bit of a luxury having your own room in A&E. Not like that in mine, just behind a curtain as usual!

Hope they can find out what's going on with the inflammation. Haven't ever heard of sodium levels being checked. I wonder how many different tests it's possible to do on a blood sample.

Wishing you well.
