I mentioned in an earlier post that the name of Dr Sinatra appeared in someone else's post. I am grateful to whoever it was, as I have linked into his web site at info@heartmdinstitute.com Today, I received a very helpful post. The hyperlink unfortunately does not copy. I'm only able to copy the opening preamble. The full post explains in detail the different type of heart "flutters" and when to be concerned. It also goes into his views on possible causes. Plus foods to avoid. Foods to go for and interestingly his top tip on supplements. As this is a topic that comes up time and again. In the immortal words of our politicians - I commend it to the house.

Having heart palpitations?

At some point in our lives, most all of us will experience heart fluttering, racing, skipping, or another kind of irregular heartbeat. It’s incredibly common. But because it affects the heart, it also can be incredibly frightening.

I saw hundreds of patients over the years who were concerned about heart palpitations. In many of those cases, the irregular beats turned out to be 100 percent benign—nothing to worry about. But I also saw a lot of people whose palpitations were their bodies’ way of telling them that their heart needed help. When are heart palpitations cause for concern?

Hi. As it came into my inbox. I didn't have to visit the site. It is titled Having Heart Palpitations. It may not be down as link as yet. I don't know how the site works as I've only just joined. The hyperlink which didn't send on my post to Healthunlocked allowed me to click through on the orig email. But no address shows, it just goes to the web site and all the info is there. Not much help I'm afraid.

I believe this may be the link to the Stephen Sinatra article you are referring to: heartmdinstitute.com/heart-...

I read him quite a bit. His book Metabolic Cardiology is good.

There is some information that "Nella" ( she has left the blog ) provided when she had consultations with Dr Stephen Sinatra's son Drew Sinatra ( Dr Stephen has retired ).

You can still find her posts < Dr Stephen Sinatra > in search.

No point searching for Nella as she is "hidden now "

This is but one of her very interesting posts.
