Another ablation recommended at Hammersmith Hospital

Just send my dr who referred me to cardiologist / specialists have been a Ruth is problems since November last year and only now just seen specialist appointment due to Covid 19 issue in hospitals has recommended another ablation (first one in November 2014). But told waiting list a year and it’s going to be done at Hammersmith. Has anybody had treatment at the Hammersmith and how long did you have to wait .

I had my abalation in August 2019 only had to wait 6 months for it not sure if that’s long to wait really good team I thought when I had mine done there

Is the AFIB come back?

Yes I have had several runs of AF and Atrial Tachycardia the latter being more regular very uncomfortable

I had my ablation at Hammersmith in March and had been waiting 6 months but that was just before lockdown so imagine the wait would be longer now. Problem I found with Hammersmith is they don't have an A&E dept so if you get AF you can't go as an emergency so I ended up in various different hospitals before I had the ablation.

Had to wait 6 months for ablation at Hammersmith pre covid during which time I was blue lighted to A & E 5 times for arrythmias

Had a date for early September but was cancelled day before operation new now for November still having issues now getting bad reflux from hiatus hernia
