It may work or it may makes things worse. The last time I went out of synch was drinking a very cold can of fizzy drink. We are all different so look for what works for you and ignore all else.

Gulping down a cold drink from the fridge worked for me.

A large glass of coconut water put me back in NSR straightaway. My Lone PAF is heavily influenced by my Vagus Nerve. I had previously started an episode by gulping half a bottle of cold ginger beer so avoided all cold drinks normally. I think this was a factor in its success for me.

No straight from the fridge. Coconut water itself may not be relevant, it was the only drink I had in the fridge.

i have tried putting my face into ice water, and putting my scalp into iced water to get out of afib. neither has worked for me. What I have noticed is sometimes when my afib really goes bonkers with HR of over 180, my throat aches something fierce. Like my throat is swelling up and pounding. When that happens, I will eat chunks of ice and that seems to really help alot.

I jumped into an outdoor pool in November in the UK specifically to try and revert my AFib. Water temp was about 6C.

It didn't work for me.

Maybe i should have done it a month later when i would have had to break the ice
