Lovely John. Why through FB?

Hi CD,

Well, it was a thought from John6 about posting 'cheerful' stuff that might promote a conversation. Needed to be sorted by admin. Then jeanjeannie put up a thought about a FB page. So I was just messing around to post light-hearted stuff on HU FB Page. Don't think it quite meets John6 idea but someone more 'Techwise' than me might have an idea or two.

John6 was saying we can't put more than one photo in a post on this forum. So if you can do that put another photo in this post of yours. Or send me the Facebook link to where you've done that please.

I was just experimenting ................ I just opened up Facebook and there was my FB page.

Then at the top where it says search I typed in HU uk and ended up with the HU uk FB page

( where I found a like from BobD).

Then on the right side it says 'sign up or sign in' (can't remember) ............ click on that and it takes you into the Hu we can identify with. There you will find a post from Kaz747 and she has posted 4 photos.

Kaz seems to have created a photo collage of 4 separate photos.

I'll play around a bit more but to me it is simple HU have a FB platform and a separate forum platform.

so next I'm going to try and just use the facebook platform only.

And yet Kaz managed to post a collage - but only on an original post. My guess would be that you can’t post photos within a thread because it would just get unmanageable if many people posted within a thread - seems reasonable.

Thanks for the pic. Ive never been out of the US, so I live to see places I will only travel to in my mind.

I remember Kaz saying she uses an app to post more than one photo - she is the social media whizz!😊

Is it possible to put a photo in a reply yet?

So far I have concluded that the HU Forum cannot/ will not operate like the FB format. That leaves a dedicated App to do it or create a photo collage, like on Picasa 3 or similar, or simply post photos on the HU Facebook page itself. Now I tried this yesterday but couldn't find them afterwards. Working today so will have another try tonight.
