Hip inj while on Eliquis

I’m going to have a cortisone inj in my hip and I’m on Eliquis, for Afib they said I should continue to take it as directed, have any of you had an experience with inj in hip while on a blood thinner, how did it go?

Whilst you may not get too many replies to this precise question, many people have all sorts of procedures whilst taking anticoagulation meds without consequences.

Perhaps it would help if we understood your concerns about having an injection whilst taking the meds and what sort of injection?

Possible bleeding in the joint or something like that, I’m just nervous about it

I have had three of those now, on Xarelto which is pretty much the same thing. No problem as far as I am aware. Helped with pain
