Ablation in a few days & Covid-19

I’m eager to have my 2nd ablation - I have had two recent electro-cardioversions & don’t want a 3rd! However, the virus looming makes me wonder about the wisdom of having an “elective” procedure. So far I’m headed towards moving ahead since community spread is not KNOWN to be active here (yet).

Take care everyone!

If you can get it done quickly, might be best now otherwise things will just get worse and you won't be able to have it done for quite a long time. On the other hand, if you're coping well or have drugs that are working, maybe wait till it's all over (end of year???? who knows).

If it were very soon, personally I'd agree with your thoughts and go for it.

I would take the advice given by the specialists I doubt they would do anything if they thought it would be a risk to your health.
