I just read an interesting article about Wenxin Keli and Afib.
Wenxin Keli is a Chinese herb extract reported to be of benefit in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac inflammation, and heart failure.[13] Wenxin Keli is composed of five main herbal extracts: Nardostachys chinensis Batal extract (NcBe), Codonopsis, Notoginseng, amber, and Rhizoma Polygonati.
Any thoughts or experiences?

My advice is to proceed with caution. I have a great respect for TCM and have benefited from consulting a practitioner on many occasions. My most recent encounter with TCM however was a disaster - the herbal medicine prescribed triggered one of my worst AF episodes and it took several days to get back to normal. So I think you need to consult a trusted practitioner preferably one with training in Western medicine who will understand any contra indications and will be able to advise you without any language difficulties. I’m not saying don’t give it a try, as I think the more natural the remedy the better for us, but do make sure you have researched and taken advice from someone with the necessary expertise in this area. Good luck! Liz
Hi Bambi although I try to keep my lifstyle as natural as possible and avoid unnecessary medication I consider having a heart condition that can lead to a stroke is far too serious a thing to try to treat with unproved herbal remedies.
As well as choosing your herbalist/naturalist carefully also choose your herb source carefully.Preferably from someone who grows their own herbs in the uk.
