It sounds like an ablation might be worth looking into. Any chance you can see an EP? Are there any life style things you can changes you might change. like any smoking, alcohol , fitness and healthy diet?

How often do these episodes occur and how long do they last? If impacting on your life then definitely worth considering ablation. I had my one and only in 2013 aged 63 and no AF since.

Ask to see an electrophysiologist rather than cardiologist as they specialise in arrhythmias.

Good luck. 🍀

Since October 2018 every 4 weeks I have had mostly small episodes of AF but 3 of them were bad going on for hours, one treated by pill in pocket checked at hospital because of pain and 2 had to be shocked to correct
