My experience parallel yours - the affect of the Biso was worse than than the AF!

Are you waiting a month until treatment? Are you in AF constantly?

No treatment just sit it out and wait for it to go back in its been like this for over 40 yes some times last a day aweek or a month no set pattern. Feel so much better now off beta blockers will probably re take when resume normal sinus rhythm

They have talked to me about aberration but not that keen as some people go through it 4 times or more so not a perfect solution

Or ask for an alternative that doesn’t have those affects on you. Biso is prescribed to lower heart rate whilst in AF so it doesn’t make sense to me that you would stop them when in AF but restart when in NSR?

I'm on 2 5 mg of bisop they tried to up it to 5mg a day I could not function knackered so they reverse it back to 2 5 but when I'm in af I can't tolerate it I'm feel shattered down want to get up so they take me off it when in af they tell to start again when back in normal rhythm. To so call stop me going into af again I don't think it works it seems to to in and out when it feels like it .I've everything over the years no booze coffee cheese nothing changes some people say stress but I'm retired now still get it just got to live with it it's shit when your in it but u feel great when it go's back in

I use to take sotalol for a few years that was OK but they told me that it was found to be bad for your heart so they put me on bisop. Reading on here it's a game of such it and see no cures just how best to live with it . It's only fatel it it travels to the lower ventulure the top Chambers seem to ba able to tolerate the quivering.

By ‘it’ I assume you mean AF? Diagnosed in 2007 but had undiagnosed arrythmias probably for most of my life. I take no drugs these days because they did me more harm than good.

At it’s worst I had AF episodes 5-6 times a week with high HR and low BP and had to be hospitalised a few times.

Nowadays - I’ve had 3-4 mild AF episodes in the last 4 years and only when I’ve had a serious chest infection.
