Hi all, haven't posted for a while, but a couple of things have got on my wick recently so thought I'd seek help from the rest of you- been experiencing a lot of ectopics recently (like, every few beats for hours on end for days), which is pretty draining, but went into full blown AFib last night for 9 odd hours, knackered, and it did make me wonder- I know this has been raised before, but how many of us get a spate of those missed beats almost as a lead up to an all out attack.? And also, it seems to have reset the old ticker so it's beating quite nicely at the moment (famous last words), almost like a warning sign, similar to migraines, spooky!
Love to all, Clive X

Cheers OurCoach, yes it's the craziest condition, and as you say, the big bad af still wins- thankfully none of us are alone in this journey, take it easy!
Get out of here OurCoach! That happens to me, generally an early morning start (4am) and usually kicks back into normal rhythm after work - all I can say is good luck mate, you're in good comany!
Three and a half hours out of bed and still running. Hate it. Four weeks post ablation and this is number 14. Three a week roughly. Sheesh. But still more healing time needed.
Hi again OurCoach, I'd wondered about the success rate of an ablation in case I end up having to have one - the Doc has made ominous noises about it! Still, I think you're right, more healing time, it's a pretty big op! Hang on in there mate, you'll get there 😉
Thanks Clivecsw. It’s good to get encouragement from someone else who is in the same boat. My friends and family do their best and have their suggestions, but it’s not always helpful.
It's the weirdest condition, I can go days without an ectopic or afib episodes, then bingo! and stuck in it for hours at a time! I guess this forum is a godsend, because it proves how many of us are stuck with it and how disabling it can be - my bruv is waiting for a heart valve replacement after getting sepsis last year (he's a paramedic!) so I just have to think myself lucky, bless him!
Hi Auriculaire, glad to hear the rest of us get the same thing- got to say the breathing stuff doesn't work for me but I guess we're all different (thank gord) cheers!
