Doctor prescribed Prozac for anxiety.
I had an ablation but was told to take Multaq if afib came back. One doctor said it’s ok to Multaq, another said it was not ok. Anyone taking both?

I’m surprised you have had nil response so far. I have no experience of Prozac, but was advised to take diazepam by my GP when unable to sleep due to afib. Cardiologist was horrified and prescribed propanalol. GP, who has known me for years said “that’s why we don’t let consultants into general practice”. Don’t know why you are asking, but if it’s because you are currently on Prozac, the only thing you need to worry about is if there is a comorbidity between the other drugs you are taking. Speak to GP or pharmacist re this.
I’ve been prescribed Sertraline for anxiety but I’m scared to take them because of the side affects. I’m on apixaban and lisinopril. I’m assuming, if I do take them, that they are ok to take with my other meds. Hope you get your answers soon
