It depends what your eGFR and creatinine levels are now. If they are out of range they would be brought to your GPs attention. My levels went crazy very recently and I was hospitalised. .....back to normal now after treatment.

Creatnine of 10 would indicate severe renal failure. Normal top high around 2. If this was not a mistake call your doc immediately.

Bushy 2016 said that eGFR had dropped BY 10. Path lab would have sent out an alert to a GFR of 10.

Since few here have any formal medical training I think here is not the place to ask that question. Any abnormal results would be flagged to your doctor and you would be called in.

Blood tests should give normal ranges along side the patient's individual results.

Agree. Otherwise makes no sense to most of us.

I would think that with any major change you would receive a call from your doctor and if not, I would call mine within a couple of days after receiving the report.

What is the actual vaue of the eGFR? That should be on your report which you need to get hold of from the surgery. I keep a copy of all my reports, I don't trust them to spot trends. Less than 60 is of some concern, less than 30 is serious. AF does make eGFR worse and my reading improved after my ablation.

Potassium of 3.4 is low for anyone with heart issues.
