Hi friends, I hope you are all well, or as well as can be expected. And keeping your AF under control. I have been doing very well. I Am walking to the local shop, albeit with the help of my walker. But I get there. I am doing a little driving too. Mainly to visit my husband and local hospital appointments. The council put a rail along my drive, really helpful as it is steep. My AF is still coming and going, but I keep taking the pills as they say.
Last Monday I had a bit of a setback again, went for the cancer checkup, and it looks that it has come back. Got another scan due on the 17th of July. To check into the urethra and kidney. Had already my preop so ready to go again. Please send me some good vibes. My previous check up in March was fine, it just shows how quick things can change. I try to stay positive, but sometimes it is hard.

Good luck in the 17th. It will be a worrying time but try to stay positive. It sounds like the doctors are on the ball and checking it out quickly - that`s good news. I don`t know how I would react if I thought I had cancer - not as well as you by the sound of it. You sound very brave - compared to me anyway
Just one more thing. If your check in March was clear that`s very good news and a real positive. They are reacting quickly and this can only be a good thing.
Enjoy your weekend as much as you can and stay positive.
Dear Rienj, you have already been through so much. Please keep on being strong, brave ( yes ,you are) and positive . You are allowed to feel very low at times.
Sending you every good wish for a positive outcome. We will be waiting to hear how you get on.
I was wondering about you just the other day and pleased to hear that largely things are better but sorry to hear you have had a setback. Good luck for 17july. Pleased to hear you are getting about somewhat. Best wishes to you and your husband. Take care, thinking of you. X
You will be in my thoughts,as Potty pete has said, they are surely able to intervene as you have been checked early. So pleased you are making progress otherwise in your mobility.
Im sure your positive attitude is helping you through all this.
Hello there. I am new on here so how do you do? I just want to tell you of my friend who has fought cancer twice and won. It was in the same region and her pet dog kept sniffing and licking her and she found another lump. It was an agressive type BUT they caught it early, like yourself, so keep your spirits up. She goes walking by with her dogs still smiling. It sounds as if they are on your case pretty quick, so that can only be good. I think you are very brave. May you soon be over this little set-back, and that you will soon be smiling again soon. Onwards and Upwards!!!
I was told, that there was another tumour, and she didn’t like the look of it. When I said but I was clear in March she replied that is the nature of that type of cancer. It grows very quickly, that is why we check every three month. Maybe she was wrong? Hoping for the best. Xx
