I had neuropathy before the ablations. However, what usually precipitates and worsens the condition is all the medication associated with heart issues. Spoke with my Doctor the other day about how much worse it was getting. He sympathized, but indicated it is a side effect of the multiple medications I am on. Mine has really worsened and it was bad enough before.

thanks bigking...i’m off blood thinner and the heart meds ....but I just started supplementing with some iron as I don’t eat meat.... read there might be a correlation ..

Could be. I know B12 deficiency can contribute to it.

I've not seen anyone post that as an issue after ablation. Worth checking out with GP.

I noticed that mine worsened a great deal while I was suffering atrial flutter whether owing to the arrhythmia or the drugs, I cannot know. I get it in my lower legs, but when it is at its worst it can be felt elsewhere. It's a strange condition. I even got a sort of light brown flecking on my lower legs as a result of it. I have no pre-existing conditions that might have precipitated it - it just came out of the blue a few years ago. In general, since those early months, it has subsided and I just live with it.

I had this before ablation and was seeing a neurologist. Since the ablation it has improved slightly. It is unpleasant but as I become more active I hope it will go.

You could try getting your sugar levels checked, and/or decrease the amount of sugar you consume. That should stop it getting worse. It can be connected I believe.
