Pleased to hear that all went well and wishing you a speedy recovery. Take it easy for the next few weeks please.
I found that I could feel well and full of energy but walk too far and I would suddenly be hit by the most extreme tiredness and struggle to get back home (only to the local shop). In fact many weeks later after an ablation I walked with my daughter and her husband I reached that can't take another step point and he had to go home and get the car. Hmm odd, now I come to think of it they've not asked me to walk with them since! They only know one speed for walking and that's fast! I can remember the days when I was like that, would scoot by everyone on the pavements who were walking slowly.☹️
Well done Tilly,
Take good care now and rest as much as possible.
I’ve got mine coming up soon now too there, early next month 😊 Good to know it all went well.
Thank you. Was an interesting experience! Medical team were amazing. Dr Farwell did mine. X
That’s exciting but challenging for you. So much depends on your personal support system afterwards. Do update us on this site - as fellow travellers on the same journey we love to share!
Good to hear you’ve achieved an ablation. It’s a long road to get there. Am waiting for mine in Exeter, Devon. Do share your progress on this site. It really helps your fellow travellers!
Well done, keep reminding yourself to take things easy even if you don’t feel the need.
You should have read the sheet at least once today by now.
Best wishes
Wishing you well ! Take good care of yourself!
great news xx
Good for you - best wishes x
so pleased all went well, what did you have your ablation for? Please can I have a copy of this leaflet, I had an epi ablation 11 weeks ago in Brighton x
Glad it’s all done. Best of luck with your recovery. Take it easy
Great .
congratulations now to heal and enjoy the lovely weather
Rest up, take good care of yourself and very best of luck 🤞
Hi tilly .....I've had my 2 ablations done at basildon hospital with doctor Neil and the care and support has been amazing . Having the arrithymia nurses at the end of the phone for support is a huge security blanket plus .Rest and take it easy is my advice for the blanking period . ..if we could only see what our hearts look like after ablation I think it would help us all recover more cautiously and slowly .
Good luck ...your gonna be fine
Thats great news. My invite turned this weekend while i was away, for the first week of June. Now suddenly very nervous, but so very fed up with AF episodes interfering with my life.
well done
I’n the sane had mine done yesterday.
Feel tired and glad to be home, my second one and I know the routine but hadn’t forgotten how worn out you feel in getting home.
Jean Jeanie made a good point about three months in the body can still say hey slow down as I remember that happening to me.
Rest up Tilly, I will be doing the same
Sue
Take it easy, don’t rush it hope all goes well
Best wishes🍀 ☘️
