Wife has latest Apple Watch & when I compared the heart rate several different times against the Kardia, the apple watch was way out, he didn’t want to pull apple down did he, wonder why ?

For others reading this thread, there is supposed to be a new watch coming out from Withings (French firm) which takes EKG readings in a similar way to the Kardia, and also acts as an activity monitor (steps and stuff). This will link to Android or iOS. It runs off a normal watch battery, replaced annually. It's not available yet, but when it arrives I intend to ditch my Fitbit, which needs charging every few days.
As regards emailing your doctor, I have sent the occasional Kardia recording to my EP's secretary, but I agree with Dr. Dave, no EP would want to be inundated with emails showing AF at regular intervals. Please keep your own records and have them available when getting a consultation.
