Interesting interview with Dr Dave (@DrDave01) about his wonderful invention and what’s coming soon with the Kardia device.

This is very interesting. Do you know when the interview was held? He mentions that the 6 lead Kardia may be out this summer, and that would be great! Thanks so much for posting this.

The video was uploaded on 14 May so I think it was quite recent.

Very interesting, maybe the improved device will solve the mystery of all those people who complain that they still feel poorly even though they seem to be in NSR.

Thanks Kaz.

For others reading this thread, there is supposed to be a new watch coming out from Withings (French firm) which takes EKG readings in a similar way to the Kardia, and also acts as an activity monitor (steps and stuff). This will link to Android or iOS. It runs off a normal watch battery, replaced annually. It's not available yet, but when it arrives I intend to ditch my Fitbit, which needs charging every few days.

As regards emailing your doctor, I have sent the occasional Kardia recording to my EP's secretary, but I agree with Dr. Dave, no EP would want to be inundated with emails showing AF at regular intervals. Please keep your own records and have them available when getting a consultation.
