I have a single lead Kardia and would like to take it with me to the Canaries.
Does anyone know whether I can take it with my hand luggage or should I pack it in my suitcast to go in the hold?
Thank you

Think anyway would be fine. Happy hols.
I mine in hand luggage.
I don’t have a Kardia but maybe if it something that could possibly misconstrued as a ‘device’ with wires/batteries then try to get it in its original box with original instructions - some countries are strict and require medical letter of proof/support for carrying medical equipment
Yes, it can go in hand luggage along with pills. Put in a clear plastic bag along with pills still in their blister packs and tell them these are pills and heart monitor for heart condition when you go through security. I also cut out the labels for the pill packs as these have the prescription wnd my name on it. Bit of a faff but gives me peace of mind.
Think they have the lithium button batteries, so need to go in your hand luggage, not in the hold.
definitely hand luggage with your medication. I flew to Nuremberg with BA. I had to be scanned separately due to partial knee replacement in body scanner, forget that I’d got my metal pill box in pocket till just before entering🙄 Guy was ok with it in my hand above my head 🤣
I’ve been traveling with mine -in my wallet or purse for 10 years with no issues- never!
Enjoy your holiday!
My 6L goes everywhere with me without issue including 10 return flights, just put it in the tray with phone
Why ruin a good holiday by taking it with you? I go on holiday to forget my problems.
A lot of my problems are triggered by food allergies. I have already been hospitalised 3 times while on holiday in the Canaries. I am not obsessed by my Kardia but may need to check the rate if I get worried. I am not taking out travel insurance as it is prohibitively expensive so will have to rely on my GHIC card.
I fly several times a year and my Kardia is always in my hand luggage and has been for 5 years - no issues whatsoever in any airport or country.
