That's good news to read, but I don't like the fact that the coffee I've been using is probably decaffeinated by the use of chemicals and sometimes wonder whether it would be preferable for us to drink ordinary coffee. Have just discovered an organic chicory drink that to me tastes even better than coffee, it's made by The Chicory Co, and is in a lime green jar if you want to get some, it contains no caffeine or gluten. I bought it in our local private health store. Chicory is a top prebiotic.

There is a decaf coffee company that doesn't use any chemicals to make their coffee decaf. They donated some to the raffle at patients day last year, and will be doing the same this year I believe. Decadent Decaf. decadentdecaf.com

I'm sure there are likely other coffee companies that make it this way too, but we only know of Decadent Decaf at the moment. We can also assure that it's delicious!

I drink 2-3 cups of caffeinated coffee every day, without it causing me to flip into AF I’m pleased to say,, as I just love coffee. I appreciate everyone is different though.

Swiss water decaffeination has been around for a few years now. I buy Taylors of Harrogate brand but other brands are available 🙂

Still prefer a full blooded Caffe Nero espresso, one of the advantages of having permanent AF!

Coffee was a trigger for my AF, but it's not the caffeine in coffee which is the cause, but the coffee itself. I can drink high caffeine drinks with no problems. I haven't had a cup of coffee, or any coffee based food for 11 years.

I drink 3-4 cups of regular coffee every day with no known issues. I smile when the coffee subject comes up as my mother died at the healthy age of 97. That woman hated water. All I ever saw her drink was coffee and pepsi, lol. I do believe caffeine is a problem for some. Glad I dont need to give up my morning coffee. Interestingly none of my docs, cardiologist, EP or intragrative doc have ever said a word about caffeine.
