Have you looked down the side of all the armchairs, has it fallen underneath the bed or any other item of furniture? Have you, absent mindedly put it somewhere silly, like in a drawer, the washing basket or garage. I bet you anything it's still in your house. Think where you were when you last used it. How long has it been lost?

Hi Jean,a week.I have turned the house upside down! Coat pockets,chairs......I just rang the hospital, both departments that I attended,as I had taken it with me. No luck, thought it might have slipped out of handbag or maybe left it on the consultants desk....nope!! I do remember taking a handful of old tissues, receipts etc out of bag and throwing in bin here...shall continue to keep my eyes open...thank you x

That's a pain - could you have set something on top of it? I found a lost wallet underneath a tea-light holder which had small feet and had been set exactly on top of it, hiding the wallet completely and making everything look normal.
