Kardia stopped working

My Kardia has stopped working I have changed the battery but that did not help. Do they wear out! I have had it a good few years. Have AF at the moment and like to know what my heart rate is doing. Not agreeing with the hot weather.

Drink lots of water. Can't help with the kardia but check you fittd the batgtery correctly and it is the correct one. There are gtwo that look similar with numbers that are close too,.

There are #16 and #32 and they charge different devices. Unless something untoward happened, the Kardia is a pretty simple piece. Good news - fairly inexpensive for the job they do.

I have used the 2016 which is the one that was in there. I bought two batteries and the first obe I put in some time ago has been working fine until yesterday😳

I had a similar problem. i changed the battery but the Kardia still didn't work. I think I deleted the app then reinstalled it again and the Kardia worked. Or, I may have shut down the phone and re-stated it again. I recall the former working.

Coincidence. Not sure if it's the heat or fact it's old but my Fitbit Charge 2 also went wrong 2 days ago. Its going in the bin.

Have you (or has your phone automatically) updated the app? I made the mistake of updating a couple of weeks ago and it all stopped working. I ended up deleting the app and re-downloading... it worked but all my recordings were gone.

I have had at least two other issues with the app when there are updates, so I make sure it cannot 'auto' update itself. Unfortunately a couple of weeks ago I neglected to read up about the problems and let it update :-(

I love the device and would advise anyone to get one, but the 'developers' of the software are just awful at releasing part-finished, buggy or not well-tested updates, and they really don't seem to bothered if it upsets users.

But, excuse the pun, I'd buy another in a heartbeat! It's a shame they have no competition.
