Hi folks. So I have a 20 year history of p a f.

3 ablations. Pacemaker. Still in PAF 50% of time. But can manage and resting beat was 72. I also have arthritis and fibromyalgia so thought I would see if canabinoids would help pain. Also Turmeric.

The CBD capsules from healthspan which helped pain a little, sparked of a long spell of higher hr. resting rate not going below 85 -120. Has anyone noticed increased tachy after CBD or Turmeric.

Saw the cardiologist Wednesday who doubled my bisoprolol but hasnt helped he said its fine to go and am flying to Australia. Tuesday for 5 weeks but legs feel like lead and joints sore. Hope the warmth may help. Just hope I get through it.

The first thing I wondered was why double the bisoprolol in response to a possible reaction to the complimentary drugs? Biso is notorious for making legs feel heavy. I might ask your consultant or gp for advice.

Enjoy your holiday!

Yes, almost as soon as I took the CBD I went into AF. I spoke with the supplier who said that it opens blood vessels although hes not a medic and suggested I don't use it so I didn't take any more. I have osteoarthritis and was hoping for pain relief.

Thats interesting. I was ok with just 1 capsule but 2 sparked it off. Have stopped it now. Never again. The consultant cardiologist doubled my bisoprolol til it calmed down but cant tolerate it. So staying at 5mg.

I have heard of higher doses of Tumeric causing heart/heart rate problems like that. I take a high dose of full spectrum CBD and it doesn't touch my heart rate. The full spectrum tincture in MCT has very very small amount of THC(which for sure messes with heart rate), but is too little to affect rate. I have heard that some people get a little anxious(which would also affect heart rate) certain types or brands of CBD, maybe sensitive to fillers? But the endocannabinoid system is strange and more than likely affects people differently, just like THC can make one person calm and another freak out! Better standardized quality control and more research needs to be done on CBD. I personally didn't like the way isolate made me feel, I guess the "entourage effect" of full spectrum just works better for me. I know the field, facilty, and exactly what's in my bottle. I don't take capsules because a lot of them have fillers and are a powder from China. What brand and dose do you take? Good luck, and keep me informed.

It was capsules from health span. A trusted source. But wont take them anymore as it worsened my atrial fibrillation, I am still more in tachycardia despite stopping a few weeks ago.

Also had a flare up of fibromyalgia and joints so quite weak and sore at mo. And off to Australia for 5 weeks tomorrow. 🤭😄
