Sanatogen tonic wine

Can anyone advise me if a glass of sanatogen wine is ok while on warfarin I get regular readings of 2.2 --- 2.5. Hope you are all well it's good to be back .poppy Storey

I dont think it would make significant difference to your readings.My dad used to have a whisky every night and he was on warfsrin.I think its if you drink a lot in one go?

My goodness that takes me back years! Didn't know you could still buy it! My mother used to drink it 'for her health' as she would assure me back in the 1950's!😉😉

As did my mother in the fifties, for the same reason! I didn’t know you could still get it, either. Can’t imagine it’s much of a ‘tonic’!

Oh yes you can still get it .and it is a really good tonic with vit1+2 stopped me feeling worn out and loss of appetite just 1 glass mind every few days .I still need to know how it sits with warfarin. Mind you I'm aware we must be very careful with any alcohol stay well Poppy Storey
