Is there another name for low ejection fraction? We can’t find this when trying to get travel insurance. Is it an actual condition or does it have another name?

Thank you for replying. No current cardiac symptoms- it came up during some routine tests. He is completely asymptomatic from a cardiac point of view.
45% so not too low.
Unless you have a clear diagnosis of a medical condition from a Doctor I would not worry. As far as I understand EF is a symptom of various conditions.
