Dizziness 7 months after af ablation

I am 40yr old male who had an ablation 8 months ago. The surgery was 9 hours since then I have been feeling dizzy and unsteady hope this passes but I have been Afib free. They say my dizziness is from anxiety but I don’t believe that as I was not before the ablation

Who is “they” Dynever? I expect you have seen the EP. Have you seen an ENT consultant?

I believe that more often than not, when a doctor says a patient with physical symptoms is anxious, this is a reflection of the doctor’s lack of knowledge and/or experience.

You are right not to accept this label of anxiety until you have been thoroughly investigated. Inform yourself, as you are doing here, and challenge your doctors.

Oyster's right, you need to be fully investigated. Do you know why the ablation took 9 hours? That seems excessively long. Did you gave GA or sedation? I would also try and get an MRI scan of your head to see if there's anything going on.

Also, what anticoagulation were you one and did it continue throughout the whole procedure?

I was on Xarelto

I had mri done with and with out contrast also mar and caravan my brain is good
