It’s been just over 3 months since my ablation and I’ve noticed that my afib has not been bothering me, but now I’m having ectopic heart beats....

Do any of you have the same issues???? I’m also taking 5 mg of Bystolic a day.

Thanks for any help or information

Yes, this is also my experience. I did not understand anything about ectopics prior to my RF ablation but I do now!

I had a cryoablation three years ago. Like you I started to experience ectopic heart beats but over time they have lessened.

Had some very strong eptopics after my ablation, which certainly scared me into anixety, but have been taking magnesium turate and now I hardly notice any now.

This is very common. Ectopics can be controlled by slow deep breathing. If you use the search box top right there will be plenty about them.

I had a cryomaze ablation last year, but I also had a valve repair and atrial clip. I had a few ectopics prior to surgery but frightening ectopics/arrhythmia a while after. Then I got ectopics afterward which were such that my rehab was postponed for months, but now, whilst still getting some ectopics, they have lessened a lot, as evidenced by both 24 hr and 7 day holter readings. In my case rehab and returning to an exercise regime and reincorporating relaxation, meditation and yoga seems to have been beneficial mentally and physically.

I took a PPI Lansoprazole it cured my ectopics and low heart rate after the ablation for AF but made the shortness of breath worse. I haven't been able to find anything to help with this . A

They come and go all day long, never tried to count them.

But they are bothersome... I’ve been taking tumerac and magnesium plus potassium for a few weeks now also.
